Megan and Zachary first met back in 2010 as high schoolers. They quickly became friends with Megan’s house being the go-to spot for “Bron-ball” tournaments and ping pong matches. Through college, they stayed in touch and would catch up whenever they were home for summer or winter breaks.

Years later, life brought them both to Austin — Megan completing her clinical rotations for occupational therapy and Zach in law school. Their familiar friendship slowly grew into something deeper. By the time they each moved back to Dallas, their bond had only strengthened, and after more than a decade of knowing each other, they decided to give their story a real shot - to which their friends all said “finally!”

Their dating relationship was full of card games, concerts, and weekends at Megan’s family ranch. Then, in September, they took a trip to visit Zach’s college town of Santa Barbara. While enjoying the sunset on Butterfly Beach, Zach asked Megan the easiest question she’s ever answered.

Now, after years of crossing paths, friendship, and growing up, they cannot wait to celebrate with all their favorite people!
